Years 5 and 6 Visit to France

On Monday 8th March 2010, 23 pupils from Class MW, joined 20 other Year 5 and 6 children in a visit to the Opal Coast in France.

The children travelled to Hardelot Plage to take part in a range of activities. The children visited the city of Boulogne Sur Mer and toured the old part of the city, visited the War Memorial at Etaples, a Boulangerie, Chocolate maker, the market at Le Touquet and a Hypermarket.

Here the children were able to use their French language skills as well as take part in Camp craft activities, Night hike, adventure activities to complement the language modules.

The children all had a wonderful time and were eager to visit France again.
